Understanding the scoutSMART scores
- The statSCORE is based on high school stats by position to create a score based on high school on-field performance
- The skillSCORE is the rating or grades that are derived by completing the skills ratings for a player. These ratings are normally completed by the college coach
- The smartSCORE is based on academic performance in high school
- The fitSCORE score is generated from the 3 scores. The coach identifies the importance of each score for his program
- All scores are on a scale of 1 to 9
