Brian Oesterle, a senior Running Back / Defensive Back at Melbourne Central Catholic (MCC) High School was selected as the Florida Player of the Week. During the 10/13 district upset (20-7) over Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, Brian had 216 yards rushing, 55 yards receiving, and a TD.  Brian has emerged as one of the top rushers in 1S football and has also made an impact on defense.

Brian has a 3.9 GPA, is a volunteer coach for the local 10U football team, and has participated in numerous fundraising events for pancreatic cancer. When he isn’t on the field, you can find Brian hanging out with his friends, fishing, playing basketball, watching sports, and at the beach.

Brian plans to major in sports medicine and wants to continue to play football at the collegiate level.

Kemari Scurry, a 6’0, 230-pound Defensive Lineman at Madison County High School was selected as the player of the week with more than 7K votes for week 3. Last week against a very talented Fitzgerald (GA) team, Kemari had 13 tackles and a QB hurry.

Kemari, who is a Junior, aspires to be a D1 player after high school. He also helps with his younger brother’s t-ball team. When asked, what makes him a great, player, Kemari responded “I think what makes me a great player is I am never satisfied but always humble.”

Michael McClenton, a Sophomore DE at Ocoee High School is the Florida player of the week for September 1st, .In a win over Wekiva, Michael disrupted the offense with 20 tackles, 7 tackles for a loss, 7 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles.  Michael also volunteers to help kids learn football over the summer at a football clinic with a local pastor.

Congratulations to The Bolles School’s Running Back Ty Neal for being voted scoutSMART’s Florida High School Player of the Week for October 17-23!

The 5-foot-11 sophomore has been a force to be reckoned with this season. Neal had a standout performance Friday, October 7, 2022 against Tru Prep Academy with 12 carries for 100 yards and 3 TDs. He had incredible play with a 39 yd TD run to boost the team’s energy and bring home a win.

Neal is a promising young player to watch on and off the field. He excels in the classroom with a 4.18 GPA and spends his free time investing in his team and community. Ty Neal is a young man who is driven, determined and he is one heck of a football player. He has a bright future ahead of him and we are excited to see where his football career may take him.

Congratulations to Cocoa High School’s Quarterback Blake Boda for being voted scoutSMART’s Florida High School Player of the Week for September 26-October 2!

The 6-foot-4 senior has been a force to be reckoned with this season. Boda had a standout performance Friday, September 16, 2022 against Space Coast High School where he had a perfect night with 16/16, 302 passing yards and 7 TDs. Then again on Friday, September 23, 2022 he had 314 yds and 5 TDs. Boda was voted Max Preps Overall Player of the game for both performances.

The impressive player received his first D1 offer and scholarship from Bethune-Cookman University in May 2022. Followed by an offer from Shorter University in June. Boda was recognized on the 100 Elite Prospects Quarterback Position Rankings in August 2022.

Boda is a player to watch on and off the field. He excels in the classroom with a 4.1 GPA and spends his free time investing in his teammates and community. Blake Boda is driven, hard-working and has a bright future ahead of him.
